Kris Kelley is a contemporary artist and arts educator working in Philadelphia, PA.  She draws from her background in psychology and her experience as an assault survivor to connect with viewers. Kelley’s work explores ideas through photographic media, often augmented with video or sculpture. Her works are embedded with psychological elements and involve complex ideas about identity, the body, and the role of memory in how we experience our past and present. She has participated in group exhibitions in Philadelphia, New York and Australia and holds a BA from Washington College and an MFA in Photography from the Tyler School of Art, Temple University.
